Everything Rides on Hope Now

Good Morning everyone- Sorry I have been so disjointed about posting and updating our little family blog. Our life has been on a roller-coaster ride for the last year and I feel drained having to constantly report how our crazy lives are changing... again. But I know this is a easy and convenient way for our family and friends to keep up with what crazy thing we are off and doing next, so I am not promising anything but I am going to try and post a bit more regularly.
So to update everyone on our current location... since we just made our 17th move in 6 years... we are now in Denver Co! Paul is again working for NorthStar Alarm this summer selling Alarm Systems door to door. We are living in a cute little apartment in South East Denver near a little suburb named Aurora. Denver is a beautiful place and thus far a much more pleasant summer location then Houston Tx was last year. The weather is lovely, we have had cool days dipping into the 40's and warm summer days with a high of 95-ish. We continue to find plenty to keep us busy. We have been exploring many of the local nearby walking paths... We have been enjoying many local farmers markets... just yesterday we went to a free day at a local garden and had a blast! All in all, we are doing great and having fun on our little adventure to Colorado!
Now as for my girls, Emmie is now fully potty trained!!!! She is in the Summer reading program with our local neighborhood library. She has rediscovered her love of Sign Language and in learning and using new signs everyday! Emma and Aspen are developing a wonderful relationship and are doing wonderfully together. I love to watch them play and sing and talk to each other. Emma is a big help and a wonderful big sister!
Aspen is growing and changing so fast! She is not so little anymore... she is already comfy in a size 9 months and in quite the chubby baby. She is now a pro roller. She loves to be tickled and has the cutest giggle... And with a big sister like emma she is already talking and singing up a storm. She enjoys going on walks, she likes to sit ing stroller and to ride in the HotSling we have for her. She is growing up to be very true to her name, she loves the outdoors... walking in the rain... sleeping in the sun... just chilling on the patio... we are always amazed that she is such a "tree"! Aspen is just a joy to have around and we just love her like crazy!
As for Paul he is doing wonderful! He has 6 sales this month and a total of 18 sales for the summer! These are wonderful numbers! much more promising then last year. He had two weeks last month that he led the office with most sales! Needless to say he has learned lots and is being able to apply what he has learned and is doing amazing! Paul is also studying for his A+ Certification (a basic computer and technology exam/certificate), and hopes to take the test sometime next month. We hope this will help him secure a more permeant position somewhere in a more secure market and help us break out of the construction and sales market we seem to be stuck in.
And I am just the Mommy. I am becoming really good at keeping up with everyone else and staying on top of my to-do's and such. Haven't really had time to do much else... I am just enjoying taking care of our little family!
Ok well thats about all for now. Hope that catches everyone up. Thanks for all of the love, support and unconditional friendship that so many of you are always so warmly extending our family! We love you all and hope all is well in each of your lives.
Oh and the NEW blog name... Is from a song that I am finding great peace and hope from. The songs title is Hope Now, it is by a Christian Pop group called Addison Road. I have embedded the you tube of the video at the bottom of the page so all can hear and feel what I have. Enjoy!
Hugs,
Joslyn!
