What a Blessing!

What a Blessing!
There are truly so many blessings our little family is grateful for! But when it comes to keeping in touch with friends and family, in a long distance manner, we are ever so grateful for the blessing of the internet! We have been without this blessing since we arrived in Houston a little over a month ago. So... we are sorry if we have been impossible to reach... Please allow me to give a recap and update and then on we go!
We began our journey on April 11th 2009, Easter Sunday. Our Daddy, who had been absent from us then for nearly nine and a half weeks, arrived the day prior. We made the necessary preparations, enjoyed Easter Services and a beautiful and delicious Easter Dinner and then departed for our first destination late that Sunday afternoon. We first visited with our dear friends the Kelly's in Salt Lake City Utah. After much fun and a wonderful little Easter Egg Hunt we then departed by noon on Monday. The three of us were then off to St. George to visit Ian's grave and then to visit with Paul's family.

After a lovely visit with the Stead family we continued on to Southern CA. We first stopped and visited with my sweet Aunt Kate at the wonderful chidrens library were she is employed. Then we completed our days travles when we arrived at the home of Rob and Laurelun Wood.
We then stayed with these graciouse friends for the following week until the 19th of April. Then on the 20th we travled to Redlands CA and visited my Grandma Bea Fitzgerald for two days.
We then began our trip to Texas! We first drove from Southern CA to Phenox Arizona were we stayed with Paul's Aunts Steph and Deb. Then we drove on to Fort Stackton Texas where we stayed in a lovly little "Cozy Cabin" at a local and very rural campground.
The next morning we drove throught to Houston and arrived at our, should have been furnished, apartment. Since there was an oversight with the furnishings we slept on the floor that first night.
But since that first night we have gotten everything all taken care of! We are now very settled into our lovely apartment and are learning to surrvive in the heat and humittity of Houston.
My next few posts will be a continuation of recaping our last month here. We have had many fun times and many grand adventures!
Love to all,
Joslyn!
